Mass Communication — Reaching Your Audience at Scale
Why This Tool is a Game Changer
As your business grows, you need a way to reach everyone at once without spending all day on your phone. Whether it’s an urgent update, a monthly newsletter, or a promotional offer, The Pondo (our Pondocean system) allows you to send mass texts and emails safely and professionally in just a few clicks.
Step 1: Selecting Your Audience
Mass communication always starts in the People section. You have to tell the system who should receive the message before you start typing.
On your Desktop: Click People in the left-hand sidebar menu.
To message everyone: Click the small Checkmark Box at the very top of your list.
To message a group: Click on a Smart List tab at the top (like "Active Clients") to instantly select that specific segment of your database.

Step 2: Choosing Your Method (Bulk Actions)
Once you have selected your contacts, a row of action icons will appear at the top of the list.
For Texting (SMS): Click the icon that looks like a Message bubble, or click on "more" and a dropdown with the "send sms" option should appear
For Emailing: Click the icon that looks like an Envelope.
On your Phone: Open the Lead Connector app, go to People, and tap the three dots in the top right to select multiple people.

Step 3: Using Snippets (Templates)
You don’t need to type the same message over and over. We use Snippets (pre-made templates) to save time and keep your branding consistent.
Where to Create Snippets:
Go to the Communication Hub in the sidebar.
Click the Snippets tab at the top of the screen.
Click + New Snippet. You can create both Text Snippets and Email Snippets here.

How to Use Them: In the message window that pops up during your blast, click the "Use Template" dropdown menu. Select your pre-written snippet, and the text will automatically fill the box for you.

Step 4: "Drip Mode" (The Safety Switch)
If you send 500 texts at the exact same second, mobile carriers might flag you as spam. To prevent this, The Pondo uses Drip Mode.
How to use: In the message window, look for "Sending Options" and select Drip Mode.
The Settings: * Batch Quantity: How many people get the text at once (e.g., 20).
Repeat After: How often to send a batch (e.g., every 5 minutes).
The Result: Your messages are "dripped" out slowly, ensuring they actually land in your clients' inboxes.

Step 5: Managing the Replies
When people reply to your mass blast, you don't have to go searching for them. Their individual responses will appear in your Communication Hub.
Just look for the Blue Dot signifying a new reply. You can then carry on a 1-on-1 conversation or leave an Internal Note (the Yellow Box) for your team to follow up.

A Simple Summary for the "Non-Techie"
Select People: Use the checkmark box or a Smart List.
Pick Your Tool: Robot icon for texts, Envelope for emails.
Snippets: Pre-written messages created in the Communication Hub.
Drip Mode: The "safety switch" to keep you from being blocked as spam.
